As said by our senior hairstylist Edward Kim at Dusol Beauty, the see-through bangs is one of the most popular trend in Korea.
The reason being that they give the face a slimming effect. The trend of having full bangs are considered old fashioned, and ladies are now looking for a way to avoid looking plump in bangs.
To achieve the perfect see-through bangs look, the hair at the sides are cut longer to frame the face, while the see-through look of the bangs creates a taller look. All in all, this creates a beautiful oval shape for the whole face.
